Hi everyone!

I just started looking for my wedding dress, and I feel a little lost. There are so many bridal shops, and I don’t know which one is right for me. Some people say to read reviews, others say to just go and try, but it feels confusing.

I went to a shop last week. The dresses were pretty, but I felt rushed and didn’t get much time to look around. It made me think maybe I should find a shop that gives more time for appointments or has more styles to try on.

For those who have already picked their dress, how did you choose your bridal shop? Did you ask friends, check online, or just visit a few? I’d really like to hear what worked for you.

For my first wedding I went to David's Bridal Boutique (assuming you are in the US - if not i'm of no help). I heard about this place from a few of my aunt's and cousins. Decent prices on dresses, veils, shoes, etc. They were helpful and knowledgable about everything surrounding bridal garmets. I would look online and in your area for good quality wedding dress stores (not knock-offs) and read reviews. It will be time consuming but i'm sure you can find a good place or places to check out. At that point its just a matter of going in and checking out what they have and see if you can't live without one of them

I know this isn't very helpful but this is what i did, i settled on David's Bridal Boutique after going to mall shops, other bridal places, ma and pa wedding stores and looking online. Because David's Bridal was the best option for me and reasonably priced.
