Re: My recovery from treatment-resistant depression

I just want to say I think your doing amazing to recover yourself again. I think your a very strong person. I've always had bad anxiety and I was always kind of a hermit other than when I went to work the 40-50 hours I used to do. Then I had my first child and she helped me a great deal with it as I...

Re: Help

I can't tell if he's the type to stray from his girlfriend, it is their first real relationship after all. But they seem to have a lot of arguments about unnecessary things. Sometimes I joke back if I'm in a really good mood but most of the time I just play it off and don't respond to it because it...

Re: Help

That's a really difficult one. My husband and his best friend joke with eachother for a laugh they are going to run away together or pretend to pat each others buns, but I definitely know they are not gay. But since you say that guy A has started to making jokey remarks aimed towards your sexuality ...

Fires, explosions, being crushed, wasps and bees

I am terrified of wasps and bees. I am alot better at not running from them now, i just do this casual walk away that gradually gets faster. But why on earth do I have a fear of fires, explosions and being crushed when none of these has ever happened to me? I hate back massages as I feel trapped und...

Re: Please help. I need help with my girlfriend.

I really feel for you, this is a difficult situation to be in as you clearly love her very much. You say you have done everything you can to help her, but in a relationship it should not just be one person working at it. I'm married, I know this. I have never had bipolar tendencies but I have had lo...

Re: 10 year crush

I agree with the above reply. My husband has suffered depression in the past and tried to end his life before I met him. He said he turned his life around by positive thinking. So whenever I have become quite low he has said to me my feelings are important but I need to deal with them and change my ...

Re: I can't sleep!

I'm glad it worked for you. I listen Tibetian Singing Bowls to heal my chakras. That sound puts me to sleep. Also, banana peels tea really helps. Of course I still awoke to my daughter waking up but I definitely think the sound of the tibetian bowls helped my mind relax more and I found it easier t...

Re: Balloon phobia?

Hi. I have also been scared to be around balloons since as long as I can remember. It's the thought and sound of them popping that terrify me. In the past at work, I have been asked to blow up balloons and I tried to but had to get somebody else to carry on as I was scared of them bursting in my fac...

Re: I can't sleep!

[quote="Princess Ninja"]I have chronic insomnia. Sleeping pills aren't working for me. I listen subliminal messages and tibetian singing bowls sounds. They work miraculously. Thank you for your reply. I listened to the singing bowls on YouTube and you are right, they sound like peaceful tr...

Re: I can't sleep!

Thank you for your reply :D I took your advice and spike to him about it. He was surprised when he learnt that it took him a long time to wake up to our daughter at night and he thinks the reason is because he is used to sleeping through due to work and because I have been the stay at home parent so...

My husband works full time so I do Sunday nights through to Thursday nights getting up at night. The trouble is every week it's DH turn to get up at night I can't sleep either. I am so in...

Re: Anxiety and feeling like a terrible mother during lockdown

If you do what is right you will be a good mother. A good mother doesnt just support their kids but also gives fine tuning and rebuke too. Good luck. Hiyah. Sorry to sound stupid but I'm a little confused as to what you mean when you say about giving fine tuning and rebuke and doing what I think is...

Anxiety and feeling like a terrible mother during lockdown

I have always been an extremely anxious person with a very low opinion about myself. When I had my first child in October 2018 I knew I had to try and change for the sake of my daughter, who is now 21 months old. I actually done really well putting myself out of my comfort zone by going to baby grou...
