Good lord you are a sight for a sore mind. You are hilarious!!! On a downer note though, apparantly nothing is sacred. Last night one of those awful migraines hit me like a freight train in the middle of an private moment!!! Kind of ruined the mood. However, Jerry took to heart what I had said and h...

suggestions anyone?
I live in Phoenix, Arizona USA. Does anyone know of a support group for caregivers or how I can find one? The issues are mostly medical but there is also the depression that goes along with chronic illness.

Hilarious. When I am having a particularly bad time I tend to watch funny movies or Americas Funniest Videos. Helps most of the time. Actually, my therapist does CBT. Met with her first time Friday. I think she's great. Have great hopes she will be able to help. I wish the problem was as simple as d...

Have you ever wanted to die? Not suicide, just wishing you would go to sleep at night and never wake up? I just can't take anymore. Medical, mental, legal, financial... It is just too much. Not sure how much I should say. Just need to get this off my chest. I have a therapist and psych dr. But what ...

Word from the wise (lol)
I have lived with bipolar and depression all my life. Did not take meds. Kept quiting therapy. Didn't want to talk about the "issues". Decided I was young and strong and could "do it on my own". 10 years ago I was proven wrong. I began having pseudoseizures. The doctors describe ...

hello
Love my psych dr. He listened to me!!! Not used to that from a Dr. He prescribed Paxil. Any experience with that? Never had it before. He feels I am no where near ready to go to work. He will relay that to Lont Term Disability and may support me in SSDI.

See psych Dr tomorrow. Lots to discuss. On overload today and need help. Oh, the neurontin for the migrain...

I fully understand you. I absolutly hate it when I am telling my husband or my mother how I feel and they pull the "others have it worse than you" crap. Does not help one little teeny bit. But, you have to try to understand, in the only way they know how, they are trying to help. The heart...

Memory problems
(((hollyann))) I know you have read my posts in the past and may remember I have had a lot of medical issues in the past couple of months. The Dr I spoke to yesterday was my new PCP, never seen him before. He was in and out of the office too fast for detailed conversations. I see my Psych Dr again S...

food question
I have been ill for a couple of weeks. Mix that with depression and I simply cannot eat. Have lost 12 pounds in 2 weeks (don't worry, I am still overweight) I have now lost the ability to keep down solid food and yesterday could not keep down a nutrition drink. YES I know I need to see the Dr but th...

I open up my memories. Neglected hinges squeal their protest. I brush years of dust away and let my thoughts travel back. I can feel the smiles. I see the faces of friends long gone. I hear the laughter. I taste the tears. This journey is nothing new to me. The road is full of lessons learned, love ...
