Welcome lil-fi, If you were looking for a safe place to let out your feelings, you certainly found the right one. I also used to be very shy. I used to be the one that was just the tag-a-long. People would very rarely remember my name but would always remember the name of the person that I was with....

Wenesdays and Fridays are my special days. My mom goes to a day program at a local nursing home. She enjoys it a lot so it is a win, win situation. She gets out of the house for the day. I know that she is being well taken care of (they give her a hot meal for lunch) and I get 6 hours on my own. Hop...

When my daughter was about your age, her dad started reading he emails. I am not sure how he got the password but he told me some of the things that she had written. At the time I thought that was a gross invasion of her privacy. I am sorry that your mom was just sympathetic for a while. Did she say...

I can't do the chat room thing (find it too stimulating) so I guess that I don't know too much about you at all.

When you feel comfortable to post, let us know something about you.

Make it as long, or as short as you want.

Welcome

I think that all of us want to have someone, just listen to us. Feel free to vent, most of us do it here at some time. A very important thing that I have found about the forums, no one judges. I have seen a counsellor for many years now. I was told by my psychiatrist that 75% of those with depressio...

Hi Roni,

Welcome.

As Warmie said we are all in the same boat, and from the forums I have found so much help.

I look forward to looking at posts each day. It really helps me get through my days.

Crista,

Just adding another "welcome to the forums"

I can assure you that you have found a safe place to post your feelings.

Since this is a "depression forum" so there are a lot of people here who also suffer.

We are all in the same boat.

Sore shoulder today. With the broken leg (my driving leg) I was still hoping to be able to drive for when I go on holidays, early in October. From what others are saying I am now doubting that will happen. Really bummed out with that news. I have travelled with the person who is coming with me, befo...

Took the stronger pain med last night.

Slept better.

If I needed shoulder surgery the wait list for that procedure is 16 months here. Have a friend who is getting it at the end of this month. Is planning to take the month of October off of work.

Rotator cuff is ok. No broken shoulder. I guess it is inside the shoulder tissue that is causing all of the pain. There is inflammation. Got a scrip for tylenol4 with coedine this afternoon while seeing dr. Could hardly sleep last night because of the pain in the left should and arm. Have a referral...

Went to doctor, yet again, today.

Rotator cuff seems to be ok but can't tell about soft tissue damage.

Have referral in works to get some physiotherapy, courtesy of the government.

It has been a good day.

I was diagnosed several years ago now.

Have been taking Metformin and Avandia, who seem to be able to keep the disease under control.

Blood sugar levels have been pretty good lately.

Scared.

Going to ultrasound today and worried they are going to find something wrong with my shoulder, that requires surgery.

Take care of elderly mother, can't do the surgery thing.
