Re: Constant triggering

No I'm not okay with it. Just don't have the strength to go through with another conversation. It's the same answer every time. Like it or leave. Leaving would financial and wellbeing suicide. I'd end up with nothing. My kids would Hate me more than they do now. My youngest daughter seems to underst...

Constant triggering

Ive been struggling for about 12 months. My wife has told me she has no interest in sex anymore. We have had sex but only 6 times last year. Ive stopped initiating (in 26 years i can count on one hand instances she has) because being rejected hurts more than not having intimacy. Im getting triggered...

Re: what pets do you have?

Sadly we had our cat Jack but to sleep, one of the hardest things I've had to do. It tore me badly. Luckily Phoebe has filled the hole left by his departure.

Re: I really hate my body

You are not the issue. He is the one with the issue. You have grown beautiful children within your body, and given birth to them. My wife was a size 18 when I met her at (her age) 18. She is now 42, a size 20. She has carried our 2 daughters (now 19 and 14)and she carries her stretch marks and extra...

Just venting. Need this out of my system

I'm over everything. Sick of pain from failed wrist surgery. Sick of my job that is the direct source of my wrists failing. Sick of dental pain daily waiting to see whether insurance will pay. Sick of busting ass 10 hrs a day then having to wait till late to pick up daughter from work. Sick of faili...

Re: Close to ending it.

I wish there was a like button on above posters comment. Original posters post ran very true to me. All that keeps me from taking my life is my wife, my kids and my dog.

Re: Withdrawing from life, and the wife is pissed about it

Hi mine kinda crept up on me, I've always been pretty quiet. However the last few years, having 2 kids my social circle went from small to 0. A redundancy went from having a laugh with workmates on shift to a new job where I work alone overthinking for 8hrs a day. I once was optimistic and motivate...

Re: Why do I want to disappear?

It troubles me to say this but these are my exact feelings, only thing is I'm 44, married and a Dad to 2 girls. Doesn't help with all this Covid19 hype and work slowing to a meaningless grind 10 hrs a day.

Another vent... Sorry

Over past week I've had the dark thoughts, unable to sleep any decent amount, crying incessively for no reason. I find myself wondering about if leaving my wife, kids and pets is a good idea. Oldest is 18, offers nothing positive. Youngest is 13 and beginning to want her space so Dad's no longer a g...

Struggling again

This time of year is always horrible for me. Everyone's all happy and upbeat, me, I just wanna disappear for a while. Wife doesn't understand, oldest daughter makes me feel a failure. I have a little positive, I bought a puppy and I love her to bits. Only thing in my life that seems to be happy when...

Re: I can not see any light at the end of the tunnel

I feel the same 43, hate my job, have extreme anxiety trying to talk to my wife about the issues regarding the lack of intimacy we now have, (months of nothing and my "equipment" no longer works), I'd be keen to hear how others have seen the light

Re: Want to feel alive again~

The title for this thread is exactly what I desperately need. Im beginning to get the symptoms of becoming immune to my meds, Nortriptyline, I've already become immune to citilopram and one other med I can't remember. I take a healthy dose of Lithium, pryodoxine and magnesium (for sleep and excrucia...

Wow. That puts things in perspective. My worries pale in comparison to what you are going through, and what you have written here has genuinely bought tears to my eyes. YOU are in my thoughts and YOU are doing as good as you can with the hand you have been dealt. I salute YOU ma'am for being able to...

Just so overwhelmed

Last day of the year. Very average year, highlight was going overseas for the first time. Opened my eyes to what's out there. Anyway it's basically done. Have massive feelings of being overwhelmed by the lack of what I've accomplished in my life ( I'm 42), I feel trapped in my job, feel unappreciate...
