Depression Understood Forums

I would like to find a Pen Pal, Mentor, friend, over 50. I am female and would like to be able to communicate with another female who has pretty much suffered with depression most of their lives.

I have had depression for as long as I can remember. I think what brings me here is a need to communicate with those who understand. I had issues in my past that made me insecure, unable to trust, and I struggle with the fact that I feel turmoil is what is normal.
