Aww shattered, that's a serious load on your plate. If you know the phone number and/or address to your ex, let the creditors know about it..i know it's hard, as my ex pulled that stunt on me with welfare to the tune of $600. Hugs

Well that pic is certainly a good one ; not many people would recognize the "i love you" sign. That gave me a smile to start with, with another one following for working the ambulance crew. I find that helping others helpos me to put in perspective my own issues. Try to remember Peep's Rul...

Welcome to the forums. You really weren't complaing or ranting in my opinion. I see your post as a very brutally honest explanation of why you are here Liz. I felt much the same way all my life until around 13 years ago I started getting help. Rant all you like; we'll listen. Hugs

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you wonder. 15 years ago DID was a non-existing condition to most people. It was 13 years ago that my TP found me and we went from there. I was quite literally the poster child for DID. If your selfs have been helpful, this is definitely a good thing, and as t...

My therapist (TP) told me once that excessive aggression/anger is the first sign of depression. To just give you meds without finding out WHY this is happening to you would a horrible mistake, and no reputable doctor would ever do that. You have to learn to trust the doctors trained in this to help ...

ola, in my experience it takes a full physical workup, the na referral to a psych professional once all organic (anything dealing with the body, such as head injury) issues have been ruled out. The next step would be to assess your ne4eds. Many people don't need (or want) meds, and counseling is usu...

Princess, one of the phrases that I hear all to often is "Just snap out of it.", like it's some sort of magic switch you can push to fix it. Such lines as "it's jsut a phase" or "it's jsut hormones" tend to set me off too. The funny thing is that I envy those people, be...

Ugh. I grew up in a small town, and everyone knew everyone else's business. The nice thing about small towns though is that it is soooo unlikely that anyone else there actually would find themselves here too. It's much safer here in DU though; the forums are moderated very carefully. They do everyth...

Welcome to the forums. This si a safe place to vent, and find others that feel like you do. The added extra stress of moving has probably sent you this new curve, and dealing with that can be tough. Hgs.

No Mary, you are NEVER really prepared for the death of a loved one. Even when you know it is coming, it still hits you like a ton of bricks. Hugs.

Welcome to the forums Becca. Seems like that much pain in such short time would be sufficient enough reason for depression. Hugs.

Re: The Bottom

Surely this is the bottom....surely it doesn't get any worse than this. I am struggling so much even with the little bits I am communicating in therapy and I am communicating them in a very robotic way and trying not to feel anything in his office at all. Mich, I would reccomend "The Courage t...
