Re: random things that happened

Just keep in mind that each time you have these pains is the perfect time to practice coping with them even if we come up with no improvements. Everytime we try, we succeed. Everytime we may fail, we learn. Acceptance of what can't (truthfully) be fixable does wonders for our life perspectives. We a...

Re: Personal thoughts / Introductions

An often successful way for us to cope with that agony you feel is to imagine if they were here with us, what would they say is good for us and how we need to stay healthy as we can be. Their death came as a choice they make for them, nothing directly implying we didn't care or love them too little....

Re: A poem written by me from my heart

You touched on all the feelings and pains that come to my mind some times. I'll share a poem too...... needs a little work though.... Life, our Brethren I closely study new life warmed by the new sun. I hope its birth blossoms in success. Time presents our possibilities may they come. Inevitably, th...

Valid points you make there. I agree that the basics we are forced to do to be healthy can feel imposible though we have done it many times before. I believe there are many variations of what can trigger these emotions. As long as we have the will and aim in a healthy direction we can grow and learn...

Re: My mom triggers my depression. What do I do?

It is certianly accepted to have our family be only due to our similar dna. Sometimes even our family doesn't seek our best interest, like me in a similar conflict with family, sometimes its best to value them equaly to how they treat and value us. A very old saying goes.... Never lay your pearls at...

Re: Feel like a total failure

Reading your story reminds me of my mother (70's) and said to me "I wish I never had kids". (in no offence to me cuz I understand) her 1st killed himself, her 3rd killed himself, the second brother is emotionally lost and in denial but is so damn tallented and EVERYTHING that he can fool a...

Seems like portray chaos, perminate agony, and being trapped with your mental state. Something came to mind as I read.... our minds/thoughts sometimes are like a rodeo. We are sometimes in the bleachers watching the chaos, but also sometimes we are in the center ring and your with the bull trying to...

Re: My first attempt and a poem

I read you poem in full. Seems like your talking to other people and about/to yourself. Sounds like your emtionaly lost, in pain, and question why it has to be this way. I write poems to, as too when a young teenager, though I've found that if I write poems that portray the pains and negitives in my...

Re: How do I bring up depression to my Dr.?

As for what you mentioned toward the bottom, no life is "normal". There are only more or less preferable "lives". Telling your Dr about your pains (depression, anxiety....) should be something to do. Dr.s are only as good as the information they have. If he suggests therapy, your...

Re: Lose everything I touch

wabbajack711 What you describe is a variation of the untimely waves of stress, disaster, and pain of what we call life. Sometimes others have it like kings, and others have it as a lifetime of struggle, torture, lifeless yet still alive. The grey area between is where many are, and we have the thing...

Re: Why should i carry on?

Short answer: Because you have one chance, one life and no do-overs. So might as well see how go from here. Try everything healthy, take everything unhealthy and throw it off a cliff into the sea. One step in front of the other. Pause, but never move backward. Long answer: Of what you say, "tod...

Re: defective.

Having the lack of happiness, lack of interest, joy and so forth is one of those states of mind that need the "going against the grain" type of actions. Unless this puts you in a dangerous state, what is needed is to do what you don't want anyway. Just go though the motions of activities, ...

Re: How do I deal with depression?

I'm not really one to share first hand experience about loss of a loved one, but my mother has over many years described how she lived through two of my brothers dying of suicide. The first to make sure to use is the passing of time. Things are always the worst right at that time, but as time goes o...

Re: giving up

Well, I have a different point of view in a way. You should pay attention to these thoughts and feelings. But, for the purpose of finding what triggered them or what things are happening to create them. Some become "worthless" or "hopeless" when they do something "wrong"...

Re: Just want to find way to help myself

I understand not wanting to talk with others. When confusion and pain hit us and we don't know why, we naturally try to "escape". I've been like that since childhood, when I can't figure things out I stay silent and leave as soon as I can. I believe the best thing you can do for yourself a...
