Re: People who recovered: How did you do it?

Rooce, I have no idea. Time? I am trying this summer to focus myself on work and other things to keep myself preoccupied than becoming severely depressed over the summer. I think the best thing for me to do is distract myself for the time being and continue going to counseling. Would you like to pm ...

Re: happy but depressed

I constantly go through these kinds of episodes. Depression more than happiness really but I know what you're going through. I tend to be specifically depressed in the mornings and get over it within some time after. I do have variations with depression just as you, sometimes it is really hard to ap...

Re: Putting up walls

I believe we put up walls because we want someone to break them. Someone you trust, to break the walls and bombard it with their love you've been avoiding that now is overflowing into your base behind the walls.

Re: Getting a Pet for Depression

I have an Emotional Support animal, and it is a rat. Rats pretty much have all of the characteristics of a dog except for the shedding and actually being a dog. She really helps me as well.

The 5 senses of depression and sitting in the back seat.

I'm getting more depressed. My favorite depression songs are back. Hi depression, I've missed you. Depression: How've you been? Have you missed me? Me: Yes... but... Depression: And how are you? Me: Terrible... I'm sinking into the sand but it is warm sand, that makes me feel better and welcome it b...

Re: My girlfriend needs help

Maybe help her realize how much she means to you and how you would be without her. Show her all of the consequences and what it's like when someone dies. Especially someone you love.

Re: My friend thinks i'm faking depression

I'm sorry this is happening, I personally felt this with my parents for 4 or so months. They didn't believe I really was depressed until I went to the doctors and decided to fill out the suicide and depression form honestly. They were concerned and since then I've had counseling, meds, even a group ...

I cut again but my rat was there to take it away after.

Last night I cut again. I had my rats out on my bed hoping they would stop me like I've heard the stories before. The rat I'm keeping and training to be my therapy rat came up to me when I was done and bit the razor and took it away and started chewing on it. Then she went and sat on my arm. This is...

Re: lost in my own mind.

I went through this stage of not wanting to do anything, I know, and can at least imagine how it feels. I know how you feel that you are slowly digging a hole you soon won't be able to climb out of. I hope you find motivation soon and you can get back on board with your homework. It takes some time ...

Re: Open Book

Hi, Sunshine,
You seem to be feeling really misunderstood, I know what it feels like. And if I don't know directly how it feels, I can imagine how it feels. If you would like to talk to anyone, I would love to chat with you. You are not alone and I hope you know that.

There's no such thing as recovery. It just goes away and stores for later.

I love this so much. I am an empath and can feel the pain you are preparing for, for when he asks you those questions. Stay strong. You are not alone.
