Onyxx, I got him when he was around one year old, he will be 11 years old or 12 years old this year, he is a sweetheart but likes to get in fights with other cats, he looks a little spooky in this photo lol:

I love those cats' eyes.

Animals -- both wild and domesticated -- are so lovely. They function by pure instinct. No mental games to get in the way. The natural order that they live by is untouchable.

My parents had to put three of our dogs down. The first two, our girls, Sadie and Babe were put down about a year ago. Before the year was over, we got a male dog, Manny. Recently, we had to put him down due to some unknown illness. All his internal functions started shutting down rapidly. Couldn't even walk outside to pee. We had to take him to the vet immediately and have him put down. Happened this February.

Birds, dogs, and turtles catch my eye. Cats are nice, but they tend to not like me. Very photogenic animals. Love to look at them in pictures. Wondered about getting a pet bird one day, long, long into the future. Dogs are great, but I'd like to try a bird. One day, not any time soon.
