A Cry For Help

Through the quietness of the darkest night it come,
A cry for help from source unknown,
Through the darkness and over the sea,
I sit and wonder could the source be me.

Pray to God they all would say,
But at times He seems so far away,
They become an empty shell of a person,
Without rhyme or reason.


How did this happen?
How can this be?
What will become of this tragedy?
Who would be willing to help?

Tears stream down the face at night,
As the person tries to make things right,
Pushing down questions too afraid to ask,
Struggling to do the most simplest task.

Will this cry for help result in harm?
Or will be answered with an outstretched arm?
Pray that it isn't too late,
Please pray it isn't too late.
