Breaking up with depression

Dear depression,
With lots of faith,
And a little heart of hope,
I wish to bid you
An amicable adieu.
Sorry its over, I couldn't cope.
I fell for happiness:
My lovely new beau.
You walked with me all these years,
And hand-in-hand,
I stood by you.
You showered me with fake fears and true tears
From a make-believe magical land.
But now, I'm done with you.
Sorry, I found someone new.
Pardon me my past with you,
There is no regret.
Forgive me my lack of life,
My future shall never fret.
Let me free your soul
From within my heart's core,
And hand-in-hand again,
Walk your feet to the door.
I wish you luck to grieve my loss
And guide you through the pain.
For me, I'd be my own little boss
And take a chance to dance again.
No more of being friends:
I'd make my being scream...
All I ever want is to forgive and forget
You forever as a bad beautiful dream...
With lots of faith,
And a little heart of hope,
I wish to bid you
An amicable adieu.
Sorry its over, I couldn't cope.
I fell for happiness:
My lovely new beau.
You walked with me all these years,
And hand-in-hand,
I stood by you.
You showered me with fake fears and true tears
From a make-believe magical land.

Pardon me my past with you,
There is no regret.
Forgive me my lack of life,
My future shall never fret.
Let me free your soul
From within my heart's core,
And hand-in-hand again,
