Respect Yourself

Postby CitM » Tue Mar 18, 2014 5:07 pm

Nail biting and other nervous habits as well as not taking care of your environment is not showing respect for yourself. No matter what is going on in your life, keeping the bathroom and bedroom a nice environment really helps your mood.

I'm working on this myself, but I think it's worth the effort. For example, one thing I'm doing is rearranging and refinishing. The refinishing and building is on hiatus only because we can't open the windows yet to ventilate, and I am really looking forward to completing the rooms.

Our surroundings truly do affect our moods. Organizing, decorating and cleaning? It brings a breath of fresh air to the spirit, and a type of peace and solace within.

Good advice, indeed. :-)
