Haven't we all wondered: "Why me?"

Postby Beliievinginmore » Thu Mar 26, 2015 1:53 pm

We try to be good people. We try to do the right thing. We strive. We do research, we learn and we make plans to beat this. We seek treatment. We seek support. We feel we can't do any more, but we push forward.

So why us? Why do we feel like this? Why you and why me? Haven't we earned being well? What must we do?

Is it somehow a part of God's plan? Did we just get the short end of the evolutionary stick?

Will we ever beat this?

I'm sure many of you can relate to the feelings I have exhibited here. I'm at a time in my life where I am trying to make improvements and move forward, but find I lack the will. I am just so tired of fighting. I just want to be well.

Thank you if you took the time to read my little rant. I really do appreciate it and would love to discuss your feelings with you.

Hi there Beliievinginmore. It's nice to meet you. I'm Star

I know what you mean. I hope someday that instead of saying " Why Me " we can all say " NOT me anymore."

keep holding on

love and hugs always
"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place, and I don't care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done! Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that! -- Rocky Balboa
