Hi kittycatlover,
Thankyou for your empathetic comment. I'm tempted to write about my pain on a deeper level, though I realize it would be very 'triggering!' Maybe I should though, you know? Get the dark things off my chest?

Hi Frame,
I appreciate your poem. Do you know which line affected me the most? It was, "...has born he, and died." Perhaps, this resonated with me a little TOO much. Don't worry though, as 'triggering' material is welcomed by me. Honesty is honesty! I may need to add that particular warning to my page title.
It's really nice to receive feedback here. Sometimes I write these poems but feel alone and rarely heard. So, thanks to all who've read and responded!

Currently, the weather is fine. Yesterday afternoon, I was so exhausted from stress that I crashed. Woke up around 11:00 pm! It's a little after 2:00 am now. So, I'm watching Fox News and sipping my yummy coffee. My morning.

Glimpse into Chaos (triggering)

A worrisome day-
Wrapped in pain that won't subside...
Only wish to hide.
Alive, I remain.
But why? I only suffer...
To live means 'suffer.'
Truth is what I speak,
With words not born of pity,
Nor, are they petty.
Booted from my home,
For, my neighbor lives to lie...
Court now looms nearby!

Continued from above (triggering)

With jail a prospect,
I could lose my newfound place-
Lies spew from her face!
Needing help to move.
As yet, I behold no luck.
Pardon me, but f**k!
Mom is gravely ill...
My son has been imprisoned...
Is joy forbidden?
Could there be more pain,
And more secrets left unveiled?
Hush. For now they're sealed.

So overwhelmed
Moving means more than packing.
It's everything.

But have enjoyed some massive thunderstorms. And my new phone has spell check. Haha. Cool.

Brilliant Blaze

Postby Frame » Fri Sep 06, 2013 9:31 am

As the world implodes
Only so far will we fall
Schools back in session

First Friday in Fall
First of the rest of your life
Think Autumn color

Only so far and
only so fast will the leaves change
fast and far enough

Frame,
Do you have any idea how beautiful that poem is...not only visually, but it touched my heart. So, thank you...You are a talented writer and great with words.

Also, I didn't know it's the first Friday of fall. Autumn is one of my favorite seasons. Well, it is when the leaves change color. Gorgeous.

Thanks again for writing this poem. I will cherish it, along with the words about this fall being the first of the rest of my life.

Hi Frame,
Liked your spell check haiku. Hee. Hee. You'd also inspired me to write one about the season.

Fading Fall

Dead, yet much alive,
Cascading hues of autumn.
Like fire in the trees.

Diminished too soon
By winters frigid embrace,
Vibrance. Autumn leaves.

Hi 4Ever;

It's actually Sept 27th, first Friday of fall. But in my school days, I always felt the week after Labor Day was the first week of fall, first week of school, summer's over.

Hello,
I hear you.
A moment ago, I unwittingly found myself on a haiku page from quite a while back. There were poems you wrote that I hadn't even seen. I don't know what happened, bit I had been keeping up with these pages

On the Water

Reflections of light
Dance softly upon the bay,
Shimmers in the night.

Voices

Bellowing I hear,
Not fathoming what they speak.
Language of the seals.

Spiders

Creepy arachnid
Huge, as straight from a nightmare
Swallowed by bug spray.

Dancing Lights

Flames adorn my home
Dancing amongst the shadows
Candles. Scented lights.

Prayers are always heard,
Though uttered in the darkness.
His answer. My light.

Animals

Innocent. Carefree.
Running, as though on the wind.
Joyful...just to be.

Celestial Song

Only angels hear,
This sweet universal tune.
Songs of mystery.

Flavor

Best part of waking
Is hazelnut in my cup.
Hazelnutholic.

Antiques

Yesterday's beauty-
The treasured pieces of now
Make lovely my home.

Wolves

Forlornly, they call,
Their muzzles toward the moon,
Crying, "Where's the beef?"

Answered Prayers

Postby Frame » Sat Sep 28, 2013 9:58 am

The problem with prayers
is not that they are heard but
that they are answered

God sees the question
in totally different light
and God does provide

not what I expect
I have become terrified
of Gods provision

Lately I'm not sure
I can expect to survive
What God dishes out

Nice poem, Frame. Just please know, if you don't already, that He never dishes out burdens upon people. Yes, bad things do occur, but it's due to the combination of the free will of others who wreak havoc, circumstances beyond our control, choices we make and the decisions of others,...a whole host of reasons...a president? Hmm.

Because God is love, I know that He doesn't sit around considering who he can zap today, or tomorrow, whenever.
I know that when we pray for something that doesn't come to pass, that this is actually an answer in itself. Because He knows the whole picture, unlike ourselves, he knows what is best for us in the grand scheme of things. There are times we're even taken out of one situation we feel we want, only to be placed in a better one. You know, that this just happened to me. A nightmare situation I was living, turned out for the better. ;-) However, I had no clue it would turn out that way until it actually happened! So, thank God!
But boy...you know how much I was stressing, and at times just ready to end it. In hindsight, I'm grateful that I didn't follow through with my plan. I wouldn't be where I am now. It's strange sometimes, how life works.
