Getting help

Postby nutmeg » Mon Jun 09, 2014 7:15 pm

Is there any sort of professional someone under the age of 18 can talk to about feeling suicidal that doesn't legally have to inform their parents/cops in Canada? I don't think I can do this on my own anymore but I don't want everyone to know either.

Hi nutmeg,
I'm not aware of the laws in Canada, but you are more than welcome to share anything you desire on this site. Sometimes, it can feel safer here, and other posters who can relate with your situation(s) are likely to give good advice.
If nothing else, it's invaluable having people who will listen and empathize because you're not so alone in your pain.
