Breakdown

Postby BrokenPen » Thu Mar 10, 2011 11:21 am

Hey everyone. Looks like things aren't all that good. Recently I had an emotional breakdown where I was crying quite a lot in my mother's arms. Afterward I had been put back on medication Citalopram 20mg. I just hope that things get better.

Sorry to hear of your breakdown. Nothing wrong with crying. I hope you are doing better soon.

Thanks though it was more than that. I was having thoughts of ending it. Everything just seems so bleak and hopeless.

I understand thoughts very well. I'm glad that you are still here. The important thing is not acting on them and getting the help you need. As long as you are alive there is still hope. You can get through this. You didnt get this way over night so it takes time to work your way back from it. But you will get there.

I wish I could feel as glad about being alive. But I often wonder am I a coward for living? Or am I a coward for not dying?

It takes a strong person to live. You aren't a coward. Each day is an unknown sometimes and it takes courage to face it. Courage to try to get better. You have that. Not a coward at all.

I hope things are going better for you.

I've had a break, too; it wasn't that severe, but I've been quite numb, in a sort of shock for a while.

Let us both take care.

crying

Crying is good. That's why we have tear ducts. If you don't let out your tears everything can build up inside. I hope each day gets better for you.
