Theme Song(s)?

Postby crystalgaze » Mon Dec 07, 2009 7:39 am

I have a few different theme songs. Here goes:

Hopeful self: Endless Possibilities from Sonic World Adventure (aka Sonic Unleashed).

Probably the most epic version of that track, Super Sonic vs. Dark Gaia:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKz4rdtX6Mg

Hopeful/semi-invincible/semi-powerful self: Solaris Phase 2
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qTys_j4 ... r2-2r-4-HM

Meditative/Powerful Self: Guardian Angel by Juno Reactor
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2e5qjmWC7JQ long
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTX3v5Rmh70 short

Death self:

Death Note OST--Shinigami Kai B (2nd disc, I think)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uA5NlSgjVE

Death Note OST--Low of Solipsism (1st disc, I think)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iBTw2eHt5dY

Silent/Zoned/Half-Dying self where I almost don't know who/where I am:

Kingdom Valley from Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5arA8vb8oSo

Silly/Joky/Jovial self where the neighbors wonder what's wrong with me: xD (stuff always makes me laugh till I cry) I usually hum/sing/scat parts of the track.

Sonic 06--Tropical Jungle (Tame in comparison to the rest?)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lROkV2a3rfU

Sonic Unleashed--Savannah Citadel Day
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vv4O-WhuKGo

Shadow the Hedgehog--Circus Park
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pGYedW6WRo

Sonic 3--Carnival Night Zone
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-dKTdGxHfs

Gone self: (I usually cry with laughter till my nose runs!)

Sonic Rush--Ethno Circus
(who thought of this I'll never know, but it's absolutely hilarious to me)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMMANIT5v-M

Gosh... How many selves are we up to now? xD

Coolin'/Chillin'/Just There self:

Nightmare--Alumina (Death Note 1st Ending...love the guitars....)
Nightmare--The World (Death Note 1st Opening, love the video)

Death Note--L's themes (lots of them from across the 3 discs for the OST)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVaH8m_WKOI (L's Theme)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9rIpZRTNNc (L no Kako)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vf4oUyDxpTM (L no Shisou)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMzeUlWguO0 (L no Nakama)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMp2VO4Qabg (L no Kabe)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5aXQxk2eDA (L's Theme B)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96kQQog1SSE (L)

Just for the record, there is no glorification of death here. Death Note was a very suspenseful, thought-provoking anime & manga. I do struggle with D & S tendencies but in no way glorify them. The track for my "dying" self refers to another post on here & is a description for falling apart slowly (almost akin to dying a slow death while still alive).

((((((((((((((((((( Crys ))))))))))))))))))))))

I have some songs/musics that i consider as my own theme songs...but please dont laugh hehe

1. Kiss Me by Sixpence None the Richer

2. My Immortal by Evanescence

3. Your Guardian Angel by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

4. Will of the Heart by Shiro Sugisu (This piano music always manage to make me cry)

5. Nemureru Hoshi no Aoi by Iidzuka Mayumi ( Its a song about death - might be triggering)

I like all of those songs because of their lyrics, something that i can relate and sometimes i just like the musics

Those are some good songs up there by the way!

Right now, the song in my head is Radical Train (The Abandoned Mine or The Chase, but particularly The Chase) (of course from Sonic '06)....

my theme song is 'Bad for Good' By Meatloaf

But only one part of the lyrics that goes 'If theres something I want, Then it's something I need.
I wasn't build for comfort I was built for speed'

And the song 'Player' by Origa

"I dive to the night like a black cat
Got nine lives
Gotta get up cut someone
Don't beg for your mercy
Save time for life and don't stop tryin'
Listen up put your hands up
You gotta fight the nightmare gotta protect your soul
Gotta get down fight this pressure
Gotta get down and fight your own
Who's that? Your worst nightmare a girl so true that's livin' in this world
That's right your worst nightmare a girl so true that's livin' in this
So pay the price and close your eyes and play the game and I'll make you cry
Come on
No way out
She's loaded but you gotta trigger
Baby it's a rush so fast that you just can't see me come on now
You know I got my blood and take a washing through my veins!
Ha! Can't catch me now
Haha! Yeah better just break me now
Well G.O.D. gonna punish me now?
And you can never ever touch me now 'cause
I am the rule I made the rule
Betcha gonna own the night gonna
Goodbye to the one last kiss and what's so lovin' no time to sleep"

Nessun Dorma (Pavarotti sang it at the 2006 Olympics in Turin/Torino)

Shizuka Arakawa also skated to it & won gold at the 2006 Olympics.

Most tracks on the Evergrace Soundtrack. Evergrace was a launch title (game) for the Playstation 2. I would so love to get my hands on that OST!!

Theme songs from: DIAURA

(visual kei band) Lost November but really Shitsu Tsubasa No Seiiki (I've been humming/singing/shouting that in the mornings & it's been keeping me together.)

Also, "DISTANCE" (You are my friend) by Long Shot Party, I think---> (Naruto Shippuden opening)
