I have my little chihuahua he will be 2 in May, his name is Cohen, I'm getting another one he was born last month on the 28th will be ready to come home on the 26th March, I've been to visit him a few times yesterday I got to cuddle him I'm naming him Rylee, he is so cute as is Cohen,
Cohen sits & listens to me when I have problems I think he understands as I get lots of cuddles from him, he doesn't judge me just loves me.

I completely get you when you say they don't judge. THey never have and never will.
