Worse

Postby DemonPawz » Wed Jul 31, 2019 7:50 pm

So I didn’t mention it in the other post I made, but I am 18. I currently live with my parents, but I want to move out soon. So things at my place got worse. Apparently my dad got in a fight and now I can’t talk to a friend. I feel very lonely, but I came up with some coping methods. I found that writing in a journal helps. Whenever I have a breakdown, or just feel horrible, I write. I can’t type much today but I hope nobody is going through what I have to. Stay strong, and have a nice day. Thank you for reading.

Hi DemonPawz,

I’m sorry to hear that things are not so well for you at the moment.

Thank you for sharing your coping methods. Keeping a journal is a fantastic suggestion. I find writing to be therapeutic, too.

As Anne Frank said in her diary in her Friday, December 24, 1943 entry:

Paper is more patient than people.”

It is encouraging to hear that, despite feeling lonely and troubled, you took action and found something positive and beneficial to help you to cope through these times.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to share that with us.
