UNHAPPY KID

Postby hellraiser » Fri Mar 29, 2019 1:04 pm

I need to hide
I need to conceal
Go to a ride
And continue till I'm ill

Cant show them I'm sad
Coz theyre gonna be mad
They just want me happy
But they give me melancholy

Words can cut
Cuts can bleed
I'm gonna stop
Then I'll leave

I've felt like that many, many times since I was about 6 years old. I am 30 now...

I've written poems like that, and still write sometimes now. It was what I wrote that caught my parent's attention as a "cry for help". There is a common understanding that people become less controlled by their minds after around 25 years old. A psychiatrist told my mother that she needed to get me past 25 and things are much more likely to let up. I'm here today, but it started with someone hearing my "cry for help".
