Help with Profile/Avatar

I have added my location to my profile, and it doesn't stick. Same with my time stamp.
Also none of my pictures will fit the format for an avatar, so I was going to choose one from your gallery, but nothings there..
Any suggestions or advice please.

I suspect that you are getting the message:

... which means you have not filled in the Current Password/New Password/Confirm Password fields. You need to fill in these fields when you adjust your profiles.
As for the avatar, it clearly says the requirements:

Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 100 pixels, the height no greater than 100 pixels, and the file size no more than 15 KB.
If you have no pictures that fit that size, then you can simply use Google to find a website to transform the size of any image.
If this doesn't help, please let us know.
