^ I believe there is reason to be found in everything. That doesn't mean there is always a reason for something. I don't believe that things are preordained for us. If that were the case, it would eleminate free will. For what is the purpose of free will if not to make choices? And what good is a choice if it isn't our own?

v If you were at the pound and you saw an animal in distress that was dying... would you adopt it knowing that you could give it's last few days or weeks a happy memory to take with it to the other side, and knowing that it would cost you not only in terms of money but emotionally as well?
