Work this out.

Postby Proudy » Mon Nov 19, 2007 7:22 am

A man lives on the tenth floor of a building. Every morning he takes the elevator down to the lobby and leaves the building. In the evening, he gets into the elevator, and, if there is someone else in the elevator - or if it was raining that day - he goes back to his floor directly. Otherwise, he goes to the seventh floor and walks up three flights of stairs to his apartment.

Why?

Is this a short joke? You know I am short, LOL.

The man is a midget. He can't reach the upper elevator buttons, but he can ask people to push them for him. He can also push them with his umbrella.

sorry jeanie :P yes hes a midget lol :D

a man was walking across a desert and when he looked behind him there were no foot prints in the sand, it was perfectly flat and undisturbed. It wasn't windy or raining, it was a calm day.

How is it that he wasn't leaving foot prints behind?

You can see nothing else

When you look in my face

I will look you in the eye

And I will never lie.

I think he was walking reversely (I mean he was walking to his behind) and when he look behind he supposed to see no foot prints as he didn't walked on there yet.

Domenico,

That was my thought too.

To give a reason you could say that the time of day was in the afternoon/evening so the man didn't want to be looking into the sun.

Best chance for survival in the desert is to sleep in the shade and walk at night ... You will be dehydrated no matter what you do, but you lose less water at night.

I like your Avatar ... a dual latte jet.
