Rocky Horror Picture Show

Postby Monty » Fri Oct 30, 2009 6:24 pm

Hi All,

This weekend is the best to watch the cult classic.

Rocky Horror Picture Show

Wish I was able to stay up late enough to go to the midnight showing of it at the theatre.

Will have to settle on watching it on tv

Any day is a great time to watch that!
Thanks for the reminder!
I used to sit in the 7th row at the Waverly Theatre / NYC when
it only played there at midnight - weekends, in the mid seventies.
My friends and I sat behind Sal, who was the original person
to shout remarks back at the screen. Then everybody started doing it.
There was a lot of lsd involved...

Actually I checked into my basement and found my long-forgotten DVD of the show. Won't have to watch it with the commercials of tv.

Like I said I wish that I was able to go watch it in the theatre (and see all the people who will dress up for the midnight showing) tomorrow night. At least since I found the DVD I can watch it anytime.

I watched it this afternoon. It kind of spoils it but I watched it with closed-captioning so I could sing along.

I think that my favorite part is when they do the dance sequence at the start.

Fantastic show.

Glad someone shared my opinion.
