Biggest Loser, something that keeps me going...

Postby brawndogonewrongo » Wed Jan 14, 2009 7:33 pm

I'm not fat... but i have enough stress and anxiety in my life that i always feel weighed down and so i totally relate to these people that push and strive to better their lives. Both physical and psychological challenges become everyday walls that the contestants must over take as they reach their goals separated from everything and everyone that they love and desire.. It may be overly dramatic to some, but watching week after week the enormous transformation that takes place and the confidence and joy that radiate from their faces afterward make it clear that i too, can also achieve my dreams no matter what obstacles block my path if i possess the drive to succeed.

Does anyone else use this to reassure themselves that they too can truly be happy in life if they work hard?

Me!!!

Dreams, well I don't dream, or try not to do that, for dreams for me do not come true. But there has to be something, a goal, to reach for. Right?

brawndogonewrongo - that's the best attitude to have!!! And I agree that those weight loss shows show the human spirit at its best, and we can all learn about striving for our best, not giving up, and facing adversity and conquering from them.

I have to do it everyday.... :-)

Set the goals for yourself, ones that can be achieved.

Hope that makes sense.
