Re: Well, I'll give this a go.

Hello, I am RagingCalm from Pennsylvania. I'm 39 and about to turn 40 and figured it's high time I did something with how I feel. I found this forum after coming to realize that I may have a concerning case of depression that has lasted for a long while now. I'm not terribly good at expressing myse...

You're right Barnabas17. I tried searching online for counseling services and came across Regain. I will try one more time to work things out with him and see where it takes us.

Miserable and confused

My life has been so complicated since I was a child, product of a dysfunctional family. My father left when I was 7 and my mother had a live-in partner a year after. Her partner started abusing me just months after he moved in. I tried to tell my mom, but she didn’t believe me. I have to deal with i...

Re: Depressed best friend...far away :(

I know a depressed person tends to say hurtful things, but don't take it to heart... I assure you she doesn't mean it. Be visible in the group chat again and wait for her to contact you... and once she does, just listen to her as if nothing happens.

What type of debt you have? Have you risked your money on something bad? It's all there, all you need is find some means to pay for it.

Re: What’s wrong with me??

If you feel there's something wrong with you, I think the best way to do is to ask for help from your family in the first place. Otherwise, a therapist or a mental health professional may take the role to support you with your problematic feelings or situation.

Re: Fear of losing a mobile phone

It depends how old the person is. If he or she is still a child, there are available apps to put limits on the usage. And of course, it will all depend on how the parents would discipline the children. But if we're talking about adults, then a professional help is needed. A therapist would play a b...
