I have every season. Seen every episode multiple times. Love, Love, LOVE.
Season four would be my favourite probably because Daniel Faraday (Jeremy Davies) Is my all time favourite character/actor.

Your mom worried, which is a natural reaction for her. Its never easy to talk to anyone about why they hurt them selves. They don't understand the feeling, the way it makes you feel.
